About RAWNY:

  • RAWNY, since 2005, supports individuals reentering Monroe County after incarceration

  • Our members include 50+ local organizations providing direct reentry services

What is Reentry Week?

  • RAWNY Reentry Week 2025 is a 5-day event providing resources for successful reintegration of formerly incarcerated individuals

  • The event covers employment, housing, mental health, and recovery services

Goals of Reentry Week:

  • Showcase reentry programs

  • Reduce recidivism

  • Bridge gap between law enforcement and returning citizens

  • Engage partners and donors for long-term impact

The Impact of Reentry:

  • Problem: High recidivism burdens communities  

  • Solution: Reentry programs promote stable reintegration

  • Statistics:

    • 67% of formerly incarcerated individuals are rearrested within 3 years without proper reentry support 

    • Employment reduces recidivism by up to 33%
